Beefsteak Tomato Bagels

  • 1 Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato
  • 4 Eggs
  • ¾ Cup Cream Cheese
  • 3 Cups Almond Flour
  • ¼ Cup Coconut Flour
  • 3 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 3 Tbsp Husk Powder
  • ½ Tsp Salt


Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F

Chop one Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato into small cubes and set aside

In a large mixing bowl, add four eggs and whisk with a hand mixer until foam is achieved

Add the cream cheese to the bowl and whisk with a hand mixer until you have a smooth, creamy consistency

Add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, dried oregano, husk powder and salt until fully incorporated

Mix in the cubed Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato and let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes

Wet your hands with warm water, separate the dough into five equal parts, and shape each piece of dough into a long log about 6-8 inches long

Make a circle pinching the ends together to form a bagel shape and place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Add your seasonings (i.e. mixed seeds, everything bagel seasoning, etc.) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown

Add your favourite bagel toppings and enjoy!
