- 1 Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Clove of Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Slices of Bread
- 3-4 Tbsp Room Temperature Butter
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Tsp Dried Basil
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Mozzarella
Cut 1 Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato into thin slices and transfer into a bowl. Marinate with finely chopped garlic, olive oil, and salt.
Spread a thin layer of room temperature butter on the bread slices and top with the other ingredients.
Start with shredded cheddar, pickled tomatoes, sprinkled with dried basil, add the sliced avocado, and top with shredded mozzarella and the second slice of bread.
Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter. Place the sandwich on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, pressing gently.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs or a sauce and enjoy!
