  • 1 Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato
  • 1 Lakeside Tomato on the Vine, cubed
  • 250g Boiled Chickpeas
  • ½ Cup Shredded Head Cauliflower
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Red Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley
  • 2 Tbsp Green Onion, sliced
  • 4 Tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • ½ Tsp Black Pepper & ½ Tsp Salt
  • Sauce

150g Plain Yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Tahini
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil


Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the chickpeas, shredded cauliflower, and one egg. Add the red onion, Lakeside Beefsteak Tomato, green onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, and cumin and mix well.

Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt, sesame tahini, garlic cloves, turmeric, and olive oil.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over low heat and lightly toast the buns.

Assemble your burgers! Layer the garlic sauce, spinach, and a tomato slice onto the veggie patty, and top it with sweet onion rings and sprouts.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
